I was lucky enough to study abroad in Luxembourg in the fall of 2020 and I started writing about the places visited. People told me that I was good at it, and I loved doing it, so that was the catalyst for me to start my own blog!

I took a giant leap of faith moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand alone to teach English. It was my dream to live abroad again, and I made it happen. Living in Thailand has been challenging and rewarding, and I am still adjusting and learning every day. I want to share my experiences so that you may be inspired to change your life and invest in intercultural experiences. I believe that moving abroad, while challenging, is NOT impossible. Traveling has changed my life for the better. I’d like to think that I have valuable knowledge, not only about the places I’ve visited, but also about life as a 22 year old post-grad who is trying to suck the marrow of life. This blog is therapeutic for me — a creative outlet. I hope you find Gracie’s Guide useful to you, whether you need travel recommendations or just some advice from a different perspective.
